I have had two employer drug tests and both times they have called and asked if I was taking medication for ADHD so it must show up pretty specifically. In both cases, I had to get my prescription information and doctor information to the testing company. I did and in both cases, they report ''drug free'' to the company.
drug screens are usually fairly specific. They are looking for illegal drugs that should not be in your system. Most drug screening companies can tell the difference between different meds that are in your system, so you should not be worried. If you are paranoid about it, I would get your doc to write a letter to your employer with the info on the ritalin, that way in case something does come back weird, you will have something to document it.
Hope this helps! :-)
